is The Marine and Leisure Skillnet?
The
The Marine & Leisure Skillnet is a network training
initiative that has successfully secured €450,000 funding
from Skillnets Ltd., through the National Training Fund of
the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment.The aim
of
the programme is to support training and Upskilling of all
staff in The Marine & Leisure sectors.
Aims
of the The Marine and Leisure Skillnet
The aims of the funded training project will be to provide
support to Marine and Leisure sectors to:

Deliver customised, local, professional, value for money enterprise
– led training
• Support members in maintaining a competitive edge
in increasingly challenging sectors through increased management
effectiveness
• Facilitate networking among members as part of a dynamic
business forum
• Empower and motivate employees to work ‘Smarter’
not ‘Harder’ through advanced knowledge and improved
skill levels.
